Dr. Rita Chorba
DPT, MAT, SCS, ATC, CSCS

Rita is passionate about human performance and keeping her clients on the move. She became a Physical Therapist after years of frustration with generic physical therapy that did not address the root cause of her own injuries as a competitive track athlete. Prior to opening ALPHA Performance, Rita worked with collegiate and professional athletes at the University of Arizona and with Marines and Sailors of the US Marine Corps Special Operations Command aboard Camp Lejeune, NC.

Rita’s work has been featured in several publications, including the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, the Journal of Special Operations Medicine, the International Society of Sports Nutrition, and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. She is a contributing columnist to the US Marine Raider Association Raider Patch Magazine and SOFLETE.com and writes about maintaining physical resilience for career longevity.

Dave Chorba
MS Ed, MAT, ATC, CSCS

Dave is a Strength Coach who specializes in helping his clients bridge the gap between injury recovery and optimum performance. He firmly believes that ‘healed’ does not equal ‘ready’, and works to ensure that clients are back to 100% (or better!) following an injury so that the problem doesn't return. Prior to opening ALPHA Performance, Dave directed injury reconditioning and strength training programs for US Marine Special Operations Command and US Marine Corps personnel aboard Camp Lejeune, NC. Dave also worked with collegiate and professional athletes at the University of Arizona in a variety of sports, focusing on track and field, rugby, and baseball.

Dave’s work has been featured in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, the International Society of Sports Nutrition, and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.
